THE CORE FOUR

Gunny Gold Kolsch beer label

GUNNY GOLD KÖLSCH

5.1% ABV | 22 IBU’s
For this recipe we wanted to go traditional and capture the character of beers brewed in Köln, Germany. The light grain bill, hearty kettle additions of Saaz and Hallertauer Mittelfrüh, and a German ale yeast make for a delicate and balanced beer. This beer pours a crystal-clear and light gold with a white head. Herbal and spicy hop aromas open up into a light, grainy-sweet body with a crisp finish.

GREEN GATE IPA

6.7% ABV | 85 IBU’s
A West Coast IPA for hopheads and folks looking to expand their palate. We load this beer with Citra and Mosaic hops throughout the boil, whirlpool and dry hopping. Fresh pine and grapefruit dominate the aroma with peach and dank cannabis making an appearance. Light grain, and faint caramel give balance through the body and lead to a stone fruit and citrus rind finish with a pleasant bitterness that lingers long after the last sip.

Seasonal beers

  • Helles in Paradise lager in pint glass on wooden table

    Helles in Paradise German Lager

    4.6%ABV | 22 IBU’s

Strikingly clean and crisp, Helles in Paradise begins with a malt backbone built from German heirloom Pilsner malt, then patiently lagered for six cold weeks. The result is a crystal-clear, pale German lager brewed with traditional malts, noble hops, and one of the oldest lager yeast strains available. This Munich-style Helles shines with a golden-straw hue, offering subtle hop bitterness and a smooth, refreshing finish. Balanced by just enough malt character to keep you coming back for more, it’s the ultimate expression of purity and simplicity. If Mr. Clean were a beer, this would be the one.

    6.4% ABV | 30 IBU’s

Curecanti Chile Beer is an easy-drinking pale ale that brings together the fresh citrusy aromas and flavors of Cascade and El Dorado hops with locally sourced Hatch green chile peppers. The distinct roasted green chile aroma blends smoothly with a touch of sweet grain, while a balanced malt backbone that carries chile flavor into a crisp finish. With zero heat, it’s the kind of beer that keeps the whole crowd coming back for more.

Pepper aromas meld with subtle, sweet grain, a medium malty body carries notes of chile pepper flavor into a balanced finish. A perfect beer to celebrate the spring and summer!

  • Hazy IPA sitting on rusty chair

    Peak Drift Hazy IPA

    6.3% ABV | 15 IBU’s

Starting with a fluffy, adjunct-heavy grist bill consisting of Colorado-grown and malted barley, white wheat, and rolled oats, we omitted any hop additions during the boil process and saved them exclusively for the fermentation cycle. For peak hop performance and utilization, we triple dry-hopped this IPA with Nectaron, Cryo Krush, and Cryo Pop - attributing bright aromatics of mango, pineapple, and candied peach rings. The Cryo process drastically concentrates the hop’s lupulin potency and aromatics without the added vegetal astringency that can be found in some highly-hopped IPAs. This is sure to be a hit this Summer in Gunnison!
